Broad Street Methodist Church is situated in the market town of Spalding in Lincolnshire. Being in the heart of the town, our Church is very much part of the community and is used by a variety of external groups who hire the premises. We are now in the process of embarking upon a new exciting phase that will ensure we continue to play a vital part in Spalding's daily life through a refurbishment and redevelopment project called Vision21.

History

The first Methodist Chapel built on this site, formerly the site of a gaol, in the 1820s gave way to the present building opened in March 1887.  This was followed shortly by the addition of the large hall and other premises adjoining.  It is a fine example of a Victorian Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, is now Grade II listed, and is well worth a visit.
